JK Rowling Harry Potter Dethly Hallows Sad Upset CriedJK Rowling might be rich enough to buy your entire family and use them as furniture without a second's thought, but she's also a woman with emotions – emotions like howling with anguish because the Harry Potter books are over.

Days before the release of the Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix movie – and weeks away from Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows, the final instalment in the Harry Potter saga – JK Rowling has hit the promotional trail, this time ending up on the Jonathan Ross chat show. And the biggest revelation to come from the interview was that finishing the Harry Potter saga took its emotional toll on JK Rowling to such an extent that she couldn't stop sobbing as she finished one of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows' final chapters. Probably the one where Harry Potter dies, then.

Are you sick of hearing about Harry Potter yet? Well tough luck, because you've still got a few weeks to go until Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows is published – and this is nothing in comparison with what things will be like then. So far we know that advance orders for Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows are huge, that the artwork for Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows suggests some sort of kung-fu action on the cards and that the boy who plays Harry Potter is a roving sex maniac – but what about JK Rowling?

For over a decade and a half, Harry Potter has been JK Rowling's life, to such an extent that Harry Potter even gets into her dreams. And, although the Harry Potter books have made JK Rowling richer than her wildest dreams, the success has come at a cost. For example, Harry Potter has severely cut down on the time that JK Rowling can bitch about skinny people or complain about shops that sell paper. So you'd think that finishing the final Harry Potter book would be brilliant for JK Rowling – but that's not the case, as BBC News reports:

Author JK Rowling has said she felt euphoric but "devastated" as she penned the last words of the final Harry Potter book, The Deathly Hallows. Speaking on Jonathan Ross' chat show, she said: "When I finished one chapter near the end I absolutely howled." … She was in a hotel room alone as she finished writing the book. "I was sobbing my heart out, I downed half a bottle of champagne from the mini bar in one and went home with mascara all over my face, that was really tough," she said.

The big question, of course, is why was JK Rowling crying so much. Was it because a vast portion of her life was effectively over? Was it because she had to kill Harry Potter? Was it because she had to kill Hermione? Or was it because she knows that not writing any more Harry Potter books will mean that only one or two skipfuls of money will be delivered to her house every day instead of the five or six she's used to?

Time will tell the real reason for JK Rowling's tears. Well, time and the inevitable Harry Potter: Married With Children books that JK Rowling will invariably punt out in a few years when she gets a massive tax bill, of course.

this is dumb harry and hermione do not die. i will not say anything else about how the book really ends,
because that would ruin it for others who hadn’t read it yet and want to. sorry, but i hate it when web sites
try to get you to think they are giving away what truly happens and get you all worked up,
when it is not even true to start with.

this is really horrible. stop bashing her just because she’s rich and doesnt believe in people starving themselves for beauty. if your jealous, keep it to yourself.
