Angelina Jolie Wants To Talk To You Naked In The Bath

Well, not you specifically - if Angelina Jolie saw you naked she wouldn't have any time to talk because she'd be too busy barfing up lumpy puddles and rubbing fistfuls of wire wool into her eyes in order to remove the horrible image of you naked.

But you get the idea. Angelina Jolie likes to talk when she's naked, and has told Marie Claire that she has her most intimate and important discussions with Brad Pitt when they're both naked in the bath together. See? Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt  are normal people just like you, only richer, a billion times better looking, with better jobs and a keener sense of where their lives are going. Plus they adopt more babies than you do and they probably don't wee in the bath to warm it up rather than lean over and run the hot tap for a few seconds. Because that is the thing that you do.

Angelina Jolie is a canny lass. With or without all the blacking up and photographer-choking that went on during filming, getting people to actually watch her new film A Mighty Heart is going to be an uphill task thanks to the relentlessly bleak realism of its tone, subject matter and ending. Angelina Jolie has already promoted A Mighty Heart the way she wanted to - with a downbeat Q&A about Important Things at Cannes - but now it's time to go for the audience-grabber.

And Angelina Jolie is a master at this. Take, for instance, this line that Angelina Jolie reels out to Marie Claire magazine in this month's edition, according to CBS:

Angelina Jolie says her partner Brad Pitt has a knack for bringing her out of her shell — especially in the bathtub. "I don't know how he does it, but … I talk a lot in the bath," she says in the July issue of Marie Claire magazine. For Jolie, it's easier to talk when you're naked. "Get naked with me, and I'll talk!" she says with a laugh.

See? Genius. Women are interested because of the idea of a loving couple talking freely about their feelings together, men are interested because the words 'Angelina Jolie' and 'naked' were used in the same line and old people are interested because - oooh - who doesn't like a lovely warm bath.

But the bathtub chats were only a part of what Angelina Jolie had to say in a wide-ranging discussion about Brad Pitt, her children, how her children relate to Brad Pitt, what a good father to her children Brad Pitt is and how she once stood her children up like skittles and rolled Brad Pitt at them as hard as she could for fun. And it wasn't just Marie Claire that got all the Angelina Jolie action either, as this is what Angelina told Esquire:

"I try to make sure that each of my children has enough of my attention to feel equal. I try to make sure that my relationship with the man in my life is solid and complete and we're very connected and having a great life together and enjoying our children and being part of the world. So that's my life."

Oh wait, that was just basically the same stuff that Angelina Jolie has said a trillion times elsewhere. You'll miss all this on Angelina Jolie's year off, you know.
