This has been the most impressive Dancing With The Stars roster yet – there’s an astronaut there, for crying out loud.
And a booby model. And, um, about four people we’ve never heard of. But still, Dancing With The Stars has plenty going for it. And yet the only thing that anyone can talk about is Kate Gosselin. They talk about how awful she is at dancing, about how much everyone who works on Dancing With The Stars hates her, about her constant blind self-centred stupidity and about the extent to which she must be neglecting her children to take part in the show.
Yesterday, a celebrity was eliminated from Dancing With The Stars. And it wasn’t Kate Gosselin. Honestly, you people are idiots.
Kate Gosselin went into Dancing With The Stars as one of the most hated women in America, probably because she thought that he’d undergo a Heather Mills-style public rehabilitation by taking part. That hasn’t exactly happened, though – what’s happened is that Jon Gosselin has decided to use the appearance to petition for full custody of their children, claiming that Kate has effectively abandoned them in pursuit of fame.
What’s also happened is that Kate Gosselin has had a series of frequent run-ins with her dance partner, other professional dancers on the show have expressed their distaste for her, the Dancing With The Stars judges have used other media appearances as an excuse to point out exactly why she’s so awful and – if anything – Kate Gosselin has transformed from one of the most hated women in America to The Single Most Hated Woman In The History Of The Entire Universe. And, because of this, Dancing With The Stars finally chose to eliminate Kate Gosselin.
Except it didn’t. For some bewildering reason, Kate Gosselin is still there. In fact, Dancing With The Stars chose to eliminate Aiden Turner – who, given that he’s the star of a soap we’ve never seen, is primarily famous for being Not Kate Gosselin – instead. Here’s how ABC News reported the elimination:
Turner likely suffered from lack of name recognition by audiences of the dance show… Left to dance another night was reality TV star Kate Gosselin, despite having Monday’s lowest score of 32 out of a possible 60. Gosselin, who with her ex-husband were in “John and Kate Plus 8,” enjoys an ardent set of fans on the show.
Oh, OK, that explains everything. Kate Gosselin is still on Dancing With The Stars because she’s more famous than the contestants who have already been eliminated. Like Shannen Doherty, who was once on a TV show about 20 years ago; and Buzz Aldrin, who effortlessly demonstrated the breathtaking scale and scope of humanity’s achievements by becoming the second man in history to set foot on the surface of the moon or some old boring crap like that.
Kate Gosselin’s much for famous than that old idiot. Well done for recognising this, America.

Kate is the most self-centered person I’ve ever seen on TV. Her tirades against her ex were sickening. Now she has poor Tony having to listen to her. If she wins, I’m done with DWTS. This is supposed to be about talent!
I like how she says she’s doing it to provide for her kids. Isn’t Jon required to pay $21,000 a month? That’s what about 2700.00 a kid? I must be neglecting mine! I thought I hated Paris Hilton until now!!
This is a dancing show for god sakes! Kate can’t dance! If she continues on I will never watch another episode of DWTS again!
Of course she’s still on! She’s given birth to her entire fan base. That’s at least a few thousand.
I cannot believe she is still on the show, it is not fair to the people who can dance at least half ok. All that she does is complain and whine, it was her choice to have all the kids, which, hello, btw made her rich and famous, give me a break people!
You need to get out more if you think Kate is the most hated woman in America. If you lived with a cheating, lazy husband and had to raise 8 small children, you would be a little crabby, too. I applaud Kate for making herself vulnerable on DWTS when she knows she cannot dance. Do you criticize actresses (Angelina Jolie, Katie Holmes, etc.) for working on a movie?
I cannot believe that DWTS would invite a person with 8 young children to come on the show, for what? She should be at home with her kids. As far as dancing goes, she looks like her partner drags her around the dance floor through most of the routine. Oh yes, she kicks her leg up in the air a few times. I thought dancing meant that you had rhythm and moved in time to the music. I guess on DWTS it’s all about who likes you and who doesn’t.
Enough enough enough. Self centered, spoiled, her own family doesn’t like her. Please, she is brave for dancing when she can’t? Really. I think I might just go cry in a corner. Such a sad life, lots of money, new fake, new fake nails, tummy tuck, boob job, all at the cost of her children? Nasty papparazi. Without whom she would be an unknown and not even considered for television work….poor baby. lets all go in corner and cry…
OK true, Kate cannot dance, but she is out there trying and i think that is OUTSTANDING, but it’s time for her to go. She tried and tried but it’s time she went. I think it’s great that she goes back and forth from DWTS to her kids, and back the DWTS, she is under so much pressure from her husband which is uncool. I’m a man, and if my soon to be ex-wife as going on DWTS and I had the kids I would be cheering her on and taking care of the kids while she did it, no matter what we were going through she is still the mother of the children, and to air out dirty laundry on TV, and the ragtag newpapers is just dirty! Maybe it is a ploy to gain more votes from the people that feel sorry for her, why not that is what our leaders in Washington do to gain our votes. Kate seems like a very nice woman in front of the camera’s I don’t know, I have never meet the woman, nor have I meet her husband, I do know that there is way too much mud slinging going on between them that gets brought to the show and she uses that to gain votes. That is not only wrong, its uncool. You get votes on how you dance not you personel life. Kate I think you are dancing to best that you can, and I think you would do alot better if you stopped bringing up Jon and the kids all the time, don’t take this the wrong way, but SHUT UP AND JUST DANCE! And I have just one question, how much money did your husband make while you were married? Because if he didn’t make 21,000 then what makes you think he can pay you child support of 21,000 a month now? Help us understand please
