Anand Jon Charged With Being Even More Rapey Than Assumed

Anand Jon Alexander's year probably isn't going the way he was hoping - instead of getting his own reality TV show about what a brilliant fashion designer he is, all kinds of women keep coming out of the woodwork claiming that Anand Jon raped them.

Last week Anand John Alexander was arrested and charged with all sorts of rape and sexual assault, with victims including a 15-year-old girl. But that wasn't the end of Anand Jon's woes - it's emerged that four more victims, this time including a 17-year-old, have come forward claiming to be raped by the designer. This brings Anand Jon's alleged sex attack charge tally to 20 from seven different victims. And if being arrested and charged with all the raping and sex attacks wasn't bad enough for Anand Jon Alexander, we also hear that layered necklaces are coming back in vogue again. Oh, the humanity!

Rape, you don't need telling, is a horrible crime. It strips women of their dignity, can cause lifelong intimacy issues and destroys Dakota Fanning's movie career. But rape doesn't just harm the reputation of creepy child actors, as the story of Anand Jon Alexander proves.

A few months ago Anand Jon had it all - high profile drink-drivers like Paris Hilton and Michelle Rodriguez were lining up to wear his clothes, he was a regular face on TV shows presented by women in fat suits and Newsweek magazine had him down as someone to watch in 2007. But that has all fallen by the wayside now Anand Jon Alexander has been charged with raping several women. Now nobody wants to wear his clothes, he's only allowed on TV shows about fashion designers accused of rape and Newsweek has amended its original article to say that you only need to watch Anand Jon to make sure his genitals don't physically intrude on you while your back is turned.

Previously Anand Jon was arrested and charged on six counts of rape and sexual attack, but now that a further four women have come forward with stories about Anand Jon sexually attacking them his count tally has shot up, as MSNBC reports:

Indian-born designer Anand Jon Alexander, 33, is now charged with 20 counts of various sexual assaults on five women and two girls, all with ties to the fashion industry, Los Angeles County District Attorney spokeswoman Jane Robison said. “These are serious charges,” Robison told Reuters. “Our prosecutor in court this morning said not only is there an ongoing investigation in L.A., there is also one in New York.” … The new counts, which were filed during a brief hearing in Los Angeles Superior Court, add various sexual assaults, including lewd acts and rape, allegedly committed against three more women and a 17-year-old girl, Robison said.

It's worth pointing out again that Anand Jon Alexander completely denies all these charges, with his lawyer suggesting that all the sex was consensual and attacks were only reported because Anand Jon didn't make the apparent victims famous like he supposedly promised. And that's something that hecklerspray can totally identify with - 18 months ago we promised ourselves that we'd be famous within a year, and we did a sex crime on ourselves to seal the deal. Now that time is up, we're feeling dirty and used and outraged that we keep denying that we did it to us everytime we approach ourselves about it.
