T.I. has been in-and-out of prison lately, which is ironic, given that his initials stand for ‘terribly innocent’. Maybe. Anyway, T.I. (real name J. Edgar Hooverbag) is in a spot of bother again as it seems he’s been inventing people to commit suicide.
What? Inventing people to commit suicide?
Yep, T.I. has had to come out and deny suggestions that he had helped talk a man out of killing himself as a publicity stunt ahead of a key court appearance this week.
T.I. was released from prison in March after a nine-month stretch for weapons possession. It is believed he had a spud gun that could shoot through sheets of kitchen foil which is, of course, illegal in 16 American states.
He made the headlines again when he helped Atlanta police coax a suicidal man off the ledge of a 22-story building by taping a video message for him.
The Grammy-award winner just so happens to have a probation hearing on Friday and sadly for him, he could be looking at more time in the clink following a drug arrest in September in Los Angeles. What a dick!
So obviously, incredibly cynical people have thought that this failed suicide attempt could be an incredibly handy way of getting a judge and jury to look at him with loving eyes and say “Aw! But he helped that man out who was going to kill himself with a totally selfless act of recording a message of himself.”
T.I. (real name Tremendous Igloo) says:
“I didn’t know this guy, I didn’t wake up in the morning to say ‘Hey let me find a way to go and save someone’s life so I can be looked at favorably come Friday.’ This is not something I could have planned.”
“My situation never even became a thought in my mind in the process of dealing with this. It was just something that touched my heart.”
And hopefully, it will touch your heart too (should you be involved in his parole hearing in any way).
