Patrick Swayze doesn't just have to deal with his pancreatic cancer these days – he's also got to put up with everyone talking like he's already dead.
That'd be hard enough for anyone to handle, but not Patrick Swayze. According to those around him, Patrick Swayze is coping bravely with his illness, and is 'determined and enthusiastic' about everything in his path.
What's more, Patrick Swayze's brother says he still has all his hair. So at least that's something he's got on, say, John Travolta. Allegedly.
Although nobody can really prepare themselves for being diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer, Patrick Swayze is reportedly coping exceptionally well. Perhaps that's because a flipside of this weird living obituary he's going through is that he's receiving thousands of messages of support from friends, family and fans, which must lift his mood. Or maybe it's because Patrick Swayze is a keen student of spiritual texts, which have helped him come to terms in a more universal sense.
Or maybe it's because, since 1990, Patrick Swayze has known that the afterlife mainly involves annoying black female psychics by singing I'm Henry The Eighth I Am again and again in a weird British accent and forcing them to lesbian kiss Demi Moore. Which actually sounds OK.
But for whatever reason, Patrick Swayze is said to be living with his cancer well. Although Patrick Swayze hasn't spoken publicly about the cancer yet – and who can blame him – his family have done so on his behalf. According to eFluxMedia:
"He doesn’t deserve to get this," Patrick’s 81-year-old mother, Patsy, told the National Enquirer. "He just doesn’t deserve it. He’s got such a big heart. He’s been such a good and generous and thoughtful person. It breaks my heart to know he’s suffering. But he bears it and he’s determined to beat this. He’s hanging in there and getting the best treatment he can." … Patrick’s brother, Don Swayze told People magazine the "Ghost" star was "a warrior" and he would keep fighting the cancer. "There have been a lot of rumors swirling that Swayze had lost all of his hair, that he had gotten really gaunt. None of this, says his brother Don, is true."
According to the reports, Patrick Swayze is in the middle for a four-week chemotherapy course, plus he's talking the experimental drug Vatalani and maintaining a high-fat diet to keep his weight up. It's good to see that he's determined to beat his cancer – something that we can attribute to Whoopi Goldberg's constant reminders that she won an Oscar and he didn't.

A get well card? Seems a bit pointless. A ‘your demise is unfortunate’ card, maybe I could get behind.

Patrick Swayze get well soon!
I’m gonna hazard a guess at what and how many subjects can not be ridiculed here. Cancer, the word alone sounds too harsh to have a piss-take anywhere near it. Yet, Team America amazing song about AIDS is cool?!
# We’re at the end of our story now, and everyone is dead from AIDS #

‘He’s got such a big heart’. And liver. Don’t forget his liver, Mom.
Leave the cancer alone, but the alcoholism is still fair game… right?
