No matter where he is in the world, Michael Jackson always seems to be required to be in one court or another. This time, Michael is being sued for apparently not paying his vet bills on time.

Which, let’s face it, is a step down from being accused of getting little boys drunk and then molesting them, but still, it’s probably something that Michael Jackson could do without. Especially seeing as that mad dove woman won’t be around to let birds fly into the air as the verdict is announced.

Michael Jackson (CDs) hasn’t been able to do right for doing wrong lately. Firstly there was all the child molestation business, then – after his acquittal – various London mobbings, spurious calls to return to California for jury service, claims that his children aren’t actually his children and reports of a phone call where Jackson called Jews "leeches." But are the troubles of Michael Jackson over now? Not if his vet has got anything to do with it.

Martin Dinnes, owner of Dinnes Memorial Veterinary Hospital in
California is suing Michael Jackson for allegedly not paying his vets
bills. However, this is Michael Jackson we’re talking about, so you
just know the bills aren’t for a quick toothbrush and nail-clipping. All in all,
Dinnes claims that Jackson owes him $91,602 for looking after the giraffes,
elephants, orangutans and flamingos at Michael Jackson’s Neverland
Ranch
zoo in Jackson’s absence. Jackson hasn’t lived in Neverland
since last June.

Dinnes’ lawyer Brenton Horner says that the suit was filed:

"with great reluctance. He [Dinnes] has a lot of admiration for Michael. This is just a business matter."

Jackson’s always-busy lawyer Thomas Mesereau said he was unable to comment as he hadn’t seen the complaint. A court hearing has been set for 2 May.
