We all know and love Fergie, don't we? She's the woman from the Black Eyed Peas who seems to exclusively sing about her tits like she's just discovered that they're there.

However, there's a dark secret that nobody knew about Fergie – once upon a time, Fergie was addicted to drugs, especially crystal meth. What's that? You did know about Fergie's old drug addictions? OK, so did we but – hey – Fergie's got to try and sell that godawful London Bridge song one way or another, so she's decided to spout off about drugs. Again.

Before Fergie joined the Black Eyed Peas, things were so different. For starters, the Black Eyed Peas were a socially-conscious hip-hop group with nary a sniff of any chart action and not the guys with the song about tits, and Fergie was nothing more than a squalid drug addict. That little fact-ette might not seem like it has much to do with Fergie's gratingly insufferable – and geographically incorrect – single London Bridge, but in Fergie's mind it does, and she's telling anyone she can about all the drugs she took. Fergie told Time that crystal meth:

"was the hardest boyfriend I ever had to break up with."

Fergie is right, too – we once went on a few dates with crystal meth, only to get a bit sick of him skipping off to the toilet when the time came to pay the bill. And then he refused to accept that we were splitting up with him and kept turning up at our house in the middle of the night singing old Luther Vandross songs at us through a children's megaphone. In the end we had to change our phone number, grow a moustache and refer to ourselves solely as Veronica for him to get the message. Anyway, this isn't about us, this is about Fergie – specifically Fergie's Drug Hell. Fergie also told Time: 

"I dug deep as to why I got there. It's the drug that's addicting. But it's why you start doing it in the first place that's interesting. A lot of it was being a child actor, I learned to suppress feelings."

But we're sure you'll all be pleased to hear that Fergie is no longer addicted to drugs. And since Fergie's new drug-free behaviour mainly involves pissing herself onstage and singing a song about – as far as we can tell – spraying photographers' buttocks with mace and then eating them for her tea, Fergie on drugs would have just scared the life out of us.
