You can always rely on hecklerspray to answer some of the most pressing issues facing humanity.
Whether it is world famine, climate change, cancer or Justin Bieber, we always want to be there tackling it head first.
And this week is no different as we ask the question: Who are the sexiest aliens to ever appear on our TV or cinema screens? We've even included a couple of men is here too.
Of course, realistically, the chances of us finding any intelligent life at all in the cosmos are slim – never mind the kind of alien that would not look out of place on the cover of Vanity Fair.
In fact, it's more likely to look like the crap that grows in your coffee mug when you leave it in your bedroom too long.
Mind you, there are some sick people around. Anyway, here goes.
22. Mary, the three-breasted prostitute (Lycia Naff)
Total Recall
She has three breasts. Nothing else needs to be said.
21. Borg Queen (Alice Krige)
Star Trek: First Contact
OK, there is something wrong with us.
20. Celeste Martin (Kim Basinger)
My Stepmother is an Alien
One of the sexiest women of the Eighties.
19. Diana (Jane Badler)
The original series of V
Just imagine what she could do with that mouth of hers.
18. Lt. Saavik (Kirstie Alley)
Star Trek 2: Wrath of Khan
Yeah, we know, but she was kind of hot in the early days.
17. Princess Aura (Ornella Muti)
Flash Gordon
Sexiest voice in the universe.
16. Superman (Any actor playing him)
Superman
What? He's Superman for God?s sake.
15. Boomer/Sharon Valeri (Grace Park)
Battlestar Galactica
Not bad for a toaster.
14. Xev Bellringer (Xenia Seeberg)
Lexx
A half cluster lizard and half renegade love slave ? our favourite combination.
13. Anna (Morena Baccharin)
V: The new series
Would have been higher, but she cancelled an interview with hecklerspray at the last minute. Bet she's kicking herself now.
12. Ezri Dax (Nicole de Boer)
Deep Space Nine
Essentially, Jadzia Dax version II, which can't be all bad.
11. Chiana (Gigi Edgley)
Farscape
She's a little Chiana doll.
10. Jadzia Dax (Terry Farrell)
Deep Space Nine
The original and the best.
9. Neytiri (Zoe Saldana)
Avatar
Not bad, as far as blue-skinned CGI characters go anyway.
8. Princess Leia Organa (Carrie Fisher)
Star Wars IV-VI
Two words: gold bikini.
7. Han Solo (Harrison Ford)
Star Wars IV-VI
Come on, even straight men would consider it.
6. Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan)
Star Trek: Voyager
Is she really an alien? Who cares! Nobody is the universe could look as good as that in that outfit.
5. T’Pol (Jolene Blalock)
Star Trek: Enterprise
Check out the clip. All we can say is the bloke must be gay.
4. Marta (Yvonne Craig)
Star Trek: Original series
One of the originals ? and still one of the best.
3. Caprica Six (Tricia Helfer)
Battlestar Galactica
Errr, the sexiest toaster in the galaxy.
2. Leeloo (Mila Jovovich)
The Fifth Element
It's the outfit that really does it.
1. Sil (Natasha Henstridge)
Species 1-2
A movie about a really hot alien who is desperate to breed, no matter what? Always going to be a winner.

It’s Jeri Ryan, not Teri Ryan.

I think you forgot one of my favorite, Laura Harris in The Faculty
William O says
Sorry to ruin your list, but #14 Xev from Lexx, Thats Xenia Seeburg from Season 2 till the end. Eva Habermann was Zev in Season 1. Both are very hot, but your list should be corrected. Sorry :)

Come on! You don’t know Friendship’s Death with sexy young Tilda Swinton?
Only online foto at http://www.shuunya.co.uk/images/misc/death.jpg

but in the movie there’s hell of Tilda.
Scott says
As for the T’pol clip, Trip was definitely not gay. He ended up banging T’pol like a bongo drum in season 3.

Big omission:
Mathilda May/Life Force
Rusty Shackleford says
I don’t think you can call Han and Leah aliens, just because they happen to be from a galaxy far, far away. The whole point is to find sexiness in a thing that is other than human, isn’t it? Natasha Henstridge isn’t much of a departure from regular hot chicks either, but she does at least turn into an alien monster. I think Jabba’s Twi Lek pleasure slave should definitely be on the list. How about a list of hottest robots? Or have we done that already?
Andrew says
How about Daryl Hannah from Blade Runner?
Bender says
That’s a picture of Xenia Seeberg for the Lexx item. She was the second Xev in that show.

Erin Sun?

SOrry, wrong actress, right picture. I have corected.

I’m not sure it’s possible to nerd this out more than the topic already has, but most of these entries are not aliens.
22. Mutant human
21. Assimilated human but maybe an alien that looks exactly human.
15. Robot (neither human nor alien)
8. Totally human
7. Totally human
6. Assimilated human
5. Robot (neither human nor alien)
2. Maybe, but thats iffy too.
1. Ok…hot alien.
mary says
How can seven of nine be six?She is much hotter than the first one.
Chris says
If you’re going to include Marta from ST:TOS, you have to include her analogue from the Kirk-in-her-bed scene of the 2009 Star Trek reboot. Yow! MUCH better than the original, even if not on the screen for long. I guess I just love green women. Blue too.

Anna? From the new V? is that for real?
Um, aside from looking like Sheldon from “The Big Bang Theory”, her daughter on the show is 10 million times more sexy.

Jadzia Dax: the original and the best! I love that comment, she’s perfection!
StrictlyGenteel says
So where is Eva Habberman, who played Zev from the series Lexx?
Funny, I’m not even sure if she’s alien or not.
