Country music legend and inspiration of drag queens worldwide, Dolly Parton has had?25 number one hits and sold more than 100 million records over the course of her career. Despite her?success, she?is perhaps just as well-known for her outrageous style, spunky wit, and, of course, her?gigantic rack.?
The self-described backwoods Barbie,? now 66 years old, has always been good-natured about her appearance and openly talks about her various enhancements, including her penchant for?wigs and extreme makeup. In August 1982, Dolly told People Magazine with her typical self-deprecating humor that she looks “like shit” without the wigs and makeup. And that’s why we love her.
Much of Dolly’s unique charm stems from her bigger-than-life?image. Talent be damned, she has made a career off her gaudiness and she makes no apologies. She owns her?tackiness and protects it at all costs. In May 2010, the singer/songwriter/actress?famously told Oprah Winfrey?that she never leaves the house without being fully made-up: “Not unless my husband was dying and I was having to run get help.”
It’s true that it’s not possible to find current photos of the bosomy star?without full makeup. The closest images are shots of her when she was much younger. She’s changed a lot over the years, but in those early photos, Dolly Parton without makeup looks absolutely lovely.
The first photo shows Dolly?with a (mostly) bare face?in 1964 when she was just 18 years old. I am not a fan of country music, big hair, heavy makeup, or tackiness in general, but I have always had a soft spot for Dolly. I can appreciate how talented she is and I like that she doesn’t take herself too seriously.?I have to admit, though, her natural cuteness in this photo really emphasizes how creepy she looks now after all the cosmetic surgery and it makes me kind of sad.
The next photo is also pretty dated, and okay, she might have on some light makeup, but it’s so much less than what we’re accustomed to seeing her wearing that she may as well have just scrubbed with lye soap (that’s what country people do, right?). Dolly has a gorgeous smile, and that hair is perfection.?It’s clear that underneath?all the pageantry, she was an incredibly beautiful woman.

How can other websites post pictures of people who are, obviously NOT Dolly, and pass them off as real? Does nobody verify this stuff?

Personally I’d like to play jazz music over her breasts

Why in the world would you put that picture of Dolly Parton up and claim that’s her without makeup? Anyone can see she is wearing makeup and as typical of her, probably loads of makeup.

I don’t like the comment that Dolly “was” a beautiful lady. She still is very beautiful. You do realize that she’s 70 years old!!!! I think she looks amazing. I watched her do a more than 1 1/2 hour fast paced show at age 68 without slowing down for a second!!!! I’d be willing to bet that YOU couldn’t do that. Dolly is an icon and always will be. She’s just “Dolly”, no explanation needed!!! What other star at 70 is embarking on a 6 month tour??

It’s not possible to get current photo without make-up… but it’s possible to erase make-up from any current photo using Photoshop. Why haven’t you do that so far?!

I love Dolly and would love to have the opportunity to just get to sit down and talk to her. She has always been a favorite star of mine. I have followed her career since she first began . I have went to many of her shows and she always gives her all. She never complains, and is sweet and kind to everyone. Beautiful always, with or without makeup or wigs, If more stars would be as honest and as personable as Dolly, the world would be a better place.

No, country people do NOT scrub with lye soap. They have a lot better sense than THAT. They use Ivory and Dove now, and even in past years Ivory was the winner. But using soap was a must, not detergents, and keeping oneself clean and healthy when possible. No makeup to ruin your skin with.
From Tennessee and proud of it.

Both of those photos show Dolly wearing mascara, eye liner or eye shadow and lip stick so she likely has foundation on her face as well. Stop lying, anyone can see she’s wearing makeup and make up is not of God. Everything Dolly does will send her straight to hell. Make up, wigs, hair cuts, frosting hair, hair color, hair extensions, weaves, add on’s, ornamental hair, pierced ears and body, tattoos, fingernail polish, toenail polish, body enhancements on chest, bottom, stomach surgery like she had, cosmetic surgeries, low cut dresses, tops, pants, pants in general, excessive jewelry, etc.. are NOT of God. People are going to be sorrily surprised when they meet their Maker. The Word of God says, “Know ye not that your bodies are not your own? They are the Temples of The Holy Spirit.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20.
Wake up World. Stop treating these things like they are okay. She’s coy, very flirtatious and flaunts everything before all mankind. She’s on the wrong road. She needs a WAKE UP CALL. Once Saved Always Saved is a False Doctrine. The Holy Scriptures prove it over and over. Nuff said.

Dolly in the 60’s and 70’s was mega hot what made her even more hot was she didn’t mind you being a guy. She knew her sex appeal was a part of why you liked her so she made the most of it. I bought “Come again” just for the pictures wow! Gotta watch “Best Little Whore House in Texas” I know she was a little bigger but bigger never hurt Dolly.

Have always though Dolly is a beautiful woman, inside and out, with a beautiful voice to boot. Was curious to see what she looked like without a wig, because she had complained about her wispy hair she couldn’t do much with. Well, Dolly, you are beautiful without the wigs too, and for that matter without makeup.
I will alway love you, too, regardless.

Hey there “Anyone Who Cares”
Did you by chance forget that part of that good book you seem to be quoting has one very important verse “Judge Not Lest You Be Judged” Matthew 7:1.
Did you forget that? You seem to pick and choose what you find important and the disregard the rest!

Dolly Pardon is indeed a natural beauty, and a natural genius as well. That is why she invented herself as a product that has made and still is making her tons of money. She is endowed with a charisma that can only come from true sincerity, and honesty, and a wonderful caring heart, while being an astute business woman as well. I know of no one who has achieved the things that she has in so many areas, and demonstrated true compassion for others while doing it. She deserves every bit of her wealth fame and glory and it will live long after she is gone, if anything in this screwed up world continues to survive
