Although millions of people know and love David Hasselhoff as the lifeguard with the talking car and the string of useless songs, there's a slight chance that David Hasselhoff might be harbouring a much weirder side.
According to reports, David Hasselhoff's ex-wife Pamela Bach is claiming that Hasselhoff called 911 to report that their daughter had tried to commit suicide on Sunday night – when apparently she was just attacked by a particularly vicious cat – and the whole thing was nothing more than revenge on Bach for divorcing him. Confused? You don't know the half of it yet.
David Hasselhoff's behaviour roughly falls into three categories: amusingly deluded, comically pitiful and downright unpleasant. In the first section lies David Hasselhoff telling everyone that Princess Diana wanted to screw him, in the second section is the story about David Hasselhoff staggering drunk around an airport at 7am covered in his own piss and in the third section is the report that David Hasselhoff beat up his wife and called her a "whore cunt bitch slut drug addict" in front of their children. This last section is where this story belongs, too.
The divorce between David Hasselhoff and Pamela Bach has been one of the more incredible divorces of recent times, being riddled with wife abuse claims and whispers about addictions to alcohol and prescription drugs on both sides. Fair enough if it was just David Hasselhoff and Pamela Bach, but there are kids involved now, too, which makes the David Hasselhoff divorce about 50% less jolly in a single stroke, especially when people start claiming that the children are trying to commit suicide. TMZ reports:
Multiple police sources told TMZ the former "Baywatch" star [called 911 and] reported that his younger daughter was "cut" and it was a suicide attempt. Now Pamela Bach tells TMZ that her daughter never attempted suicide and that David knew it. Bach claims David used his daughter as a pawn, telling Bach, "You're going down. I'm calling the police."
According to Pamela Bach's version of events, her daughter was scratched by the family cat on Sunday evening and began to cry uncontrollably. When Pamela called David Hasselhoff to suggest that the daughter started to go to a psychologist, Bach claims Hasselhoff started "ranting" and dialled 911 to report an apparent suicide bid. Pamela Bach says that Hasselhoff did this deliberately to make her look like a bad parent.
In return, David Hasselhoff is claiming that he didn't mention suicide when he called 911, but the phone operative may have misunderstood. Whatever happened, though, nobody has come out of this story looking anything less than tawdry, unstable and deeply unhappy with their lives.
Still, at least the David Hasselhoff musical should be fun.

“tawdry, unstable and deeply unhappy with their lives”.
That is exactly why I come here. I liked Rubbish Cars We Love, but you appear to have inexplicably run out of crap cars, so human misery it is.
