You know what we like? We like Ladyfuzz – the hecklerspray-interviewed experimental pop group who never fail to bring a big dumb grin to our faces. You know what else we like? We like The Go! Team – the hecklerspray-interviewed (twice) party-machines who bring a similar-sized grin to our faces.
Now, imagine if one of Ladyfuzz's hook-filled indie classics from their still-breathtaking debut album had The Go! Team's musical toybox emptied out all over it. Surely our grins would grow so large that they'd detach from our faces and do the Riverdance to the music on our desks in front of us. Well, that's only what's bloody well happened* – Ladyfuzz have re-recorded their album track Kerfuffle with The Go! Team's producer Gareth Parsons and they've turned it into something genuinely phenomenal – a joyous technicolour explosion of incredible pop fun that'll stay in your head for the rest of the week. And Kerfuffle has the cutest – and weirdly Christmassy – video you've seen for a while, too. And if Kerfuffle (the song) by Ladyfuzz rocks your world, you should run out and get hold of Kerfuffle (the EP) by Ladyfuzz – out now – which also includes touching ballad Snowcake and dumbass singalong Pirates. And if that, in turn, rocks your world you should run out and get your hands on Kerfuffle (the album) by Ladyfuzz, because that's ace too.
*Obviously the bit about the detached Riverdancing grins was a lot of bollocks. We'd be on the sodding telly if that was true.
