Anyone who's ever played Micro Machines on the PlayStation – which, incidentally, we'd kick your arse at – knows that some of the best levels were the ones that included tanks. Tanked Up is an entire game like those levels.
Tanked Up is one of the funnest games we've played in weeks. At heart, Tanked Up is a simple top-down racing game, with tracks that are bound to plaster a big stupid grin all over your face. But that's not the fun part – the fun part of Tanked Up is getting to drive a tank. If your opponents are getting ahead of you, a swift tap of the left mouse button will launch an exploding grenade their way. If you hit them, they stop for a second and lose a bit of energy. Tanked Up is surprisingly strategic – do you go for the clean win, hang around in the middle of the pack and take the leaders out seconds before the finishing line or scrape ahead and blast anyone who tries to sneak up on you? Tanked Up is so much fun we want to adopt it and raise it as our own like it came from Malawi.
