It's Tuesday which, as you all know, means it's Freaky Games About Gloopy Blobs Of Stuff With Big Crazy Eyes day. Ladies and gentlemen, we give you Super Slyder.
At first glance, Super Slyder looks like it's a game for kids, but you couldn't be further from the truth. The point of Super Slyder is this – you play the eponymous gloopy blob and you have to get from one side of a maze to the other in as few moves as possible. But Super Slyder isn't called Super Slyder for nothing – tap Super Slyder in one direction and he'll keep on sliding until he hits something. This alone is enough to make Super Slyder tougher than your average puzzler, but then when you add all of the different objects and characters that you'll either need to interact with or desperately avoid to complete each level, things start to take a turn for the brain-busting. And Super Slyder is a game that you'll go back to again and again and again to play – even if you manage to complete the 280 levels, and then make sure that you can't beat your own best scores – there's a level editor so you can even attempt to frustrate yourself. Super Slyder may not look especially sophisticated, but with gameplay like this sophistication can go and suck a fat one.
