SLACKERJACK – Around The World In 80 Days
We read the novelisation of the Jackie Chan movie Around The World In 80 Days recently. It was rubbish – the bit with the kung-fu fight in the art studio was completely left out. And there was no Arnold Schwarzenegger whatsoever. The writer, some fool called Jules Verne, hasn't got much of a future in novelisation if he keeps up like this.
And the travesty continues! Today's Slackerjack is also based on Around The World In 80 Days and – guess what – no kung-fu whatsoever. It's despicable. Instead, it's one of those tile-swapping games. Which is all well and good, but we really wanted to kung-fu Jackie Chan's head into a baddie's face.
