In a supremely post-modern turn of events, the owners of infamous Paris Hilton grubflick One Night In Paris (oh, very clever) have begun filing lawsuits against people who are duplicating and selling illegal copies of Ms. Hilton’s bedtime antics.
Porn baron David Joseph is reportedly seeking a whopping three million dollars in damages from California Paris Porn Pirate Mordechi Kattan.
Kattan – a lowly photo shop employee, no less – has yet to pass any comment on the proceedings. Probably because he’s too busy royally shitting himself.
hecklerspray can’t help but feel a little flummoxed at all of this. Are people genuinely going to try and take the moral high ground in a case which involves the illcit filming of a sleazy one-night stand? Leeches leeching from leeches – this whole thing just spirals into infinity, doesn’t it?
The company is also appealing to Hilton’s ‘fans’ to come forward and give in details of any other counterfeiters they may know of. Apparently a ‘reward‘ is up for grabs, as though some guy selling third-generation DVDS out of the back of his knackered Nissan Micra is comparable with the capture of Osama Bin Laden.
Most shocking of all is the revelation that Paris herself – who, nary we forget, hopped on to the sex-tape bandwagon like the parasitic bimbo she is – may be getting involved.
Hilton Vs. Kattan. Which is sort of like Tara Palmer-Tomkinson suing the bloke who works behind the Dixons counter.
In conclusion, then: there’s just the slightest hint of hypocrisy wafting around. Truth be told, this all leaves something of a bad taste in our mouths. And you’d know all about that, wouldn’t you, Paris?
