This week is one hell of ?a bad week to be Lamar Odom.
Not only is his marriage to Khloe Kardashian reportedly hanging by a thread after he was accused of storing his basketballs where he shouldn’t , but there’s rumours flying around that the Clippers star is also up to his nose in some shady drug-related shenanigans. It’s no wonder he felt the need to go AWOL for a few days.
Reports are saying that him and Khloe are pretty much done, but are playing chicken when it comes to who wants to file for divorce first. This is following Lamar being kicked out the house after refusing an intervention to help with the ‘hillbilly heroin’ addiction he’s apparently been nursing for around two years. You’d think having your own reality show would at least pay for the good stuff.
For those of you who haven’t visited a crack den recently, so-called ‘Hillbilly heroin’ is a cocktail of OxyContin and Ambien, and is supposed to be twice the strength of morphine. It would have to be, to bring down a guy that’s 6″10.
Lamar supposedly went to rehab last August to try and kick the habit for good – if this is true, that would mean the Kardashians actually managed to do something under the radar for once, which is a scary thought. That would mean everything we thought we ?knew about the world we live in is a lie.
This rehab stay is also around the time that he was supposed to have had an affair with a woman who then ran to inTouch weekly to tell them that the Kardashian family was stalking her, and that she once saw Khloe at a Clippers game and got the stink-eye from her.
If all goes belly up for the couple, Khloe should have a whole pile of dollar bills to dry her tears, as they signed a pre-nup before their wedding. I’m no celebrity lawyer, but I’m fairly certain that there will be a clause in there that means becoming a drug-addled cheater will result in Khloe being entitled to the clothes off her ex-husband’s freakishly huge back.
Good luck Lamar. You’re about to learn the hard way that nobody threatens the Kardashian reputation and gets out alive.
