Well, to be clear, she didn’t actually remind us. As it were. She’d have to lift the protective order and speak to us, first.
The mother of three suggested to us that getting knocked up, for the viewing pleasure of the British public, is the gift that keeps on giving. Oh, heck. We’re all fingers and thumbs today. Let us have another stab at that last one – with a loving gaze in our direction that spoke a thousand words, Katie Price let us know her womb generates more column inches than we ever will.
Why are you so bloody well interested in Katie’s womb, you ask? Well, it’s not because we mercilessly trail its every movement and its contents. No, dear. No. We’ve got drinking to do, we don’t have time for all that. We just happened upon the news that Katie may well be expecting her fourth ruddy child, that’s all.
These are rumours, for the time being. But according to speculation from The Daily Mail, the recently re-married Mrs Reid could be pregnant.
The 31-year-old pulled out of this year’s London Marathon. She was there last year, running with her ex-husband. It seems that after two weeks of training for the 26-mile run, aiming to raise money for the Vision charity, Katie has pulled out of the race. She announced the news on her website – though she ruins the fun and doesn’t give an exact reason.
She could have dropped out due to a lingering knee injury. The same one that saw her hobble across the finish last year. But no. We’ve decided. Decided, damn it! There’s a baby in that there womb. Call it blogger’s intuition. Or call it a long-winded experiment to see if we can impregnate a stranger using giggling and will power alone.
From the Daily Mail:
The mother-of-three said in a statement: ‘It is with great regret that I’m going to have to pull out of this years Virgin London Marathon. Training has been going really well, and I was really looking forward to running again this year to raise as much money as possible for Vision, but I have been advised by doctors I should not compete this year.’ Last week Celebrity Big Brother winner Alex Reid kept viewers guessing over whether his new wife was expecting, telling This Morning host Phillip Schofield: ‘Maybe, maybe not.’
This was a guest blog by Amy Grindhouse, who is not a doctor.
