In a staggering twist of irony Gwyneth Paltrow (DVDs), currently filming the movie Running With Scissors, says she doesn’t want to be an over-protective mother.
Keen to play down her image as an airhead tree hugger, Paltrow had this to say on the subject of bringing up baby.
A sensible comment from a celebrity? Let’s just see if she can’t turn that little faux par around.
"Right now Apple is young and I control what she eats. It’s all very healthy. But she’s her own person and I will respect who she is.”
That’s great. Young Apple’s her own person down the nursery, keeping it real, doing her own thing, etc. Nice to know mummy still makes sure she’s eating her parsley solids though.
“If she doesn’t want to be vegetarian or she wants to eat hydrogenated oils and fairy cakes at birthday parties, that’s fine."
Sometimes it appears hubby Chris Martin (CDs) is even more of a loony than Gwyneth.
We can’t imagine him going for the sweets and cooking fats thing. Especially not with Haribo still insisting on putting explicit dinosaur sex on their packaging.
