hecklerspray's got a pretty thorough Gwen Stefani collection. We've got a copy of her second solo album originally purchased at Target (in the original plastic), a zip lock baggy full of what we tell people is her neck hair, and a vulture-picked raccoon carcass we once found squished on the ground 112 feet from her tour bus.
It's an enviable collection, but it's not complete just yet. Gwen Stefani just announced she's releasing a whole bunch of dolls of herself through a company called Huckleberry Toys. The dolls will be available in costumes Gwen and her backup dancers wore on her last world tour.
Meaning, of course the dolls and hecklerspray will totally match. Giggle giggle.
Gwen Stefani's about to release her likeness on us in a major way. She's commissioned eight dolls in the form of her and her backup dancers, and is calling the line 'Love. Angel. Music. Baby. Fashion Dolls.'. Sounds great doesn't it? The dolls are said to be the perfect companion pieces for the twice sold-out 'No Doubt Chess Set', and the 2004 Christmas sensation 'the Gavin Rossdale Rubik's Cube'.
The Gwen Stefani dolls come with posters, pocket mirrors, or trading cards, and are being let go for a measly $24.95 a piece – yes, with prices like that, the savings are truly passed on to you. Gwen Stefani says of her and her dancer's miniatures:
"The Harajuku Girls and I wore such wicked costumes we had to share them with the world again."
Both a blessing and a bargain, that's what this is. In possible copyright infringement news, hecklerspray will be unveiling its own line of Gwen Stefani Dolls. Ours will be handmade with loving personal care by 12-year-old enslaved Koreans, so you know each doll will have that little touch of humanity. Each one will have an outer skin of potato-sack, and an inside stuffed with Gwen's actual nail clippings and a fistful of used tissue we're told she once nosed-up. We bought those highly collectible items from a homeless alcoholic with honest eyes.
