Guy Ritchie To Get Even Worse

Think of a renowned documentary maker. What sort of names pop into your head? John Pilger? Nick Broomfield? Populist pamphleteers like Michael Moore or curious mirthmakers like Louis Theroux?

Chances are you didn’t think of Guy Ritchie.

Fresh from the critical mauling his new pile of tosscheese Revolver had received ("It’s shit" - C J Davies, hecklerspray), Ritchie has decided to produce something with a more factual bent.

And he’s only gone and got his bloody wife involved.

As many of you will know, gap-toothed manor lady Madonna (CDs) has found a new fixation for her tiny mind to seize upon - that of Kaballah, the latest in a long line of silly religions that began thousands of years ago and which will continue when hecklerspray launches its Church Of Noel Edmonds in the near future.

Ritchie (DVDs) - god bless his public-schooled little face - has decided that "the public deserve to learn the truth about the religion and its devotees."

Quick to dispute any suggestions that it would be a film "promoting" the faith, Ritchie has said that he would consider making the documentary because he believes that Kaballah is "misunderstood."

Never mind that, Guy. We’ve got a better idea. Apparently there’s this conflict going on in Iraq. And the insurgents really, really appreciate it when Westerners go over there and try to film their exploits. We’re sure they’d want to meet you.

Why not give it a go, eh?
