Poor Elle Macpherson. She’s widely regarded as one of the most beautiful women in the world, but even she’s not immune to the pain of a broken heart. It’s been just over a week since she split up with Arpad Busson, so she’s bound to be staying in bed all day, crying and eating all sorts of bad food.

What’s that? Elle Macpherson is dating Al Pacino? Bloody hell, that was quick.

Tiny Al Pacino (DVDs) reportedly met with Elle for dinner at the Il Sole
restaurant in LA last week, and the mood was "definitely romantic",
according to a New York Post source.

Macpherson recently split from French financier Busson, the father
of her two children, and was so uncontrollably sad that she took the
rather odd step of asking advice from Victoria Beckham, a woman who has
all but patented the "Stick with him and smile for the cameras. Smile
smile smile because he keeps you famous" marriage guidance technique.

Whatever Posh said must have worked – Elle’s back on the dating
scene, and Pacino appears to be her new man. Which poses the question -
to appear the same height in photos, will Al start wearing platform
heels, or will Elle saw off her shins instead?
