Tiffany Haddish is like a gift that keeps on giving. From her stories about Beyonce getting bit, to hitting on Leonardo DiCaprio, to her just being genuinely funny, she’s basically become a national treasure.
Apparently Drake doesn’t appreciate Tiffany the way I do because Mr. Aubrey Graham had the AUDACITY to ask Tiffany on a date and then bail out at the very last minute (which of course Tiffany told us all about).
Tiffany appeared on Jada Pinkett-Smith’s show Red Table Talk, and revealed that Drake asked her out on a date after she appeared in his “Nice For What” music video, but then stood her up at the last minute (I wonder how many of the ladies from that video he did this to?)
Tiffany explained:
He’s like, ‘Man, I’m so excited about the video.’ I said, ‘Man, I’m excited about the video, too.’ He was like, ‘We should hang out sometime,’ and I’m like, ‘Yeah, I’m down to hang out. I’m cool to hang out. You let me know.’ And he was like, ‘Let me take you to dinner.’ And I was like ‘That sounds good,’ and he was like, ‘OK, cool, cool. We’ll make it work.’ Shoot, I go get my mustache waxed, you know what I’m saying? Get my armpits waxed, got me a nice little dress. Then I’m like, ‘So what time are we heading out? Are you sending a car? Like, where are we going?’ And then he’s like, ‘Oh, man. My bad, family emergency. I’m in Canada right now.’ I could have made $100,000 today, but I was trying to see what that D do, but all right!
I fully appreciate how honest Tiffany Haddish is about wanting to bone other celebrities (see previous blog about Leo DiCaprio), and unless Drake’s emergency in Canada was filming the Degrassi reunion, this is unforgivable, and he should call Tiffany up, take her to dinner for real, and let her see if that D is even worth it.
