This could only get better if it transpires that each has been slowly poisoning the other, the fantasy of being the heroine of a gothic romance dancing in a limelight circle in both of their heads.

I like the idea of Love joining we fractured folk below the words ‘Leave a comment!’. She could be our cruel and pallid queen.

Come on, Love – a court of ALLCAPS fanfares, mendacious xenagogues and men for all seasonings awaits you – just until we are all driven to install skull skylights, though.
