Courteney Cox not only has too many ‘Es’ in her name, but she’s also speaking out for the first time about her split with husband David Arquette, who has a face like uncooked dough.
Irritatingly, she’s being all grown up about the situation. At least that is the public end of it. We’d thoroughly enjoy it if it transpired that she was devoting all her non-work time to throwing increasingly sharp objects at an effigy of David Arquette, getting some vital practise in for when she finally gets ’round to lobbing a football covered in razors at his malleable face.
Until then, she’s shrugging it all off with a grin.
The woman who used to be Monica in Friends, said:
“I don’t know what will happen, but this is not like we’re getting divorced,”
“This is a separation and I think that takes a lot of courage . . . Whatever is supposed to happen will be the best thing for us.”
So what about that interview he did with Howard Stern where he spoke about sticking his uglies up a young lady?
Cox said,
“David is a kook. It’s not shocking and Howard Stern – he loves him – and I’m a fan of Howard Stern . . . David is an entertainer and I’m sure the people who listen to the radio are entertained by his stories.”
She’s got a point. This was one of the few noteworthy things in this whole charade.
And so, while Arquette blabs, Courteney has been hanging around with the constantly teary and unlucky in love, Jennifer Aniston.
On hanging around with Jen’:
“We just have fun, we laugh, we’re inseparable and it’s great,”
“It’s funny, a lot of really close friends are kind of going through this right now or like Jennifer [who] has gone through it. I don’t know what’s going on in the planets or what, but things are being shaken up and I don’t know what’s going to happen, but, yeah, Jennifer has been amazing for sure.”
The two will no doubt be starting a ‘Don’t Go Out With Actor Men Because They’re All Shits’ club soon.
