Brittany Murphy Possibly Engaged

Woah! Strap yourselves down folks - we have some world-shaking news for you. You remember Brittany Murphy? The girl who was in Sin City for about five minutes? Get this - she might be engaged.

We told you it was big news, didn’t we? And you’ll never guess who it is that Brittany Murphy has possibly got engaged to - her long-term boyfriend. The shocks just keep coming, don’t they?

Brittany Murphy (DVDs) is quite possibly engaged to her non-famous
production assistant Joe Macaluso, if People magazine is to be
believed. The magazine reports:

The pair, who met when he was working as a production assistant on her 2004 romantic comedy Little Black Book, got engaged over the Christmas holidays, her [Brittany's] rep said. The ring is a 3-4 carat Tiffany diamond.

Murphy,
who appears to consistently strive to be the third-best thing about any
film she stars in, is quoted in the magazine as saying:

"I’m so happy right now. I feel so lucky."

There’s
no word on a wedding date, and nobody even seems to be able to agree if
the story is even true. Brittany Murphy’s publicist has been oddly
unavailable for comment.

So there you have it - Brittany Murphy might be engaged but she might not be. You may now try and return to your normal lives.
