It must be brilliant being Britney Spears. She gets to write down any semi-coherent ambient thoughts that pass through her vacant head and then plaster it across the internet for people to read… ah, no, that's us we're thinking of.
Anyway, Britney Spears has decided to make a posting on her recently-barren official website. The good news is that it appears to be a thinly-veiled attack on her husband Kevin Federline, who Britney has been rumoured to have had several fights with lately. The bad news is that the attack comes in the form of a mental poem that doesn't really make all that much sense.
For someone who once strode around conquering the world in a skintight red catsuit, daring it not to try and take a sneaky peek at her crotch to see if she was wearing knickers or not, Britney Spears is having one hell of a rubbish year. Britney has dropped out of a top 100 sexiest women list for the first time in her career, while all sorts of kooks have been rushing to label her the worst-dressed woman in the world.
Britney's personal life seems to have hit the skids, too. Although Britney gave birth to Sean Preston, she then buggered it up by driving him around unsafely for a bit, letting a nanny apparently drop him on his head, driving him around unsafely again and then almost dropping him while holding a drink in her other hand and bursting into tears. Worse, all this was captured in a gynecologically-perfect statue.
But the biggest problem that faces Britney Spears seems to be her marriage to Kevin Federline. Despite letting him knock her up again, Britney and Kevin have been long-rumoured to have martial difficulties, and that seems to be confirmed by a weird poem that was posted on her official website entitled Remembrance Of Who I Am, which could very well be a Federline-directed broadside. And guess what? Here is Remembrance Of Who I Am by Britney Spears in full:
No more chains
That you gave me.
Enough of pain
Now I'm craving
Something sweet, so delight
How do you stand sleeping at night?Silly patterns that we follow
You pull me in
I'm being swallowed.
By the ones you think you love
They pull you down
You can't see up above.Manipulation is the key
They screw it in
Because you're naive. You come to me now
Why do you bother?
Remember the Bible
The sins of the Father.
What you do
You pass down
No wonder why
I lost my crown. You don't see me now
You ask yourself why
My crown is back
And it's way too high
For you to be in my presence
Especially my son
You should bow down
I've only just begun. The guilt you fed me
Made me weak.
The voodoo you did
I couldn't speak.You're awakening
The phone is ringing.
Resurrection of my soul
The fear I'm bringing. What will you say
And what will you do?
She's not the same person that you're used to.You trick me one, twice, now it's three.
Look who's smiling now
Damn, it's good to be me!**This is for everyone who thinks they know me…
And if you think that's bad, wait until you hear K-Fed's album…
