Lately it’s been all go for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Getting up the duff, changing their childrens’ names, growing some fancy sideburns. But when do we see the Brad Pitt/ Angelina Jolie wedding?
Maybe Brad and Angelina need to sit down and have a little chat – they seem to have their wires crossed. According to Brad, the couple will marry in the very near future, but Angelina says that she doesn’t want to marry Brad ever. We had a similar situation in the mid-nineties when we decided that we’d quite like to marry Libby Kennedy from Neighbours. But her court injuction told us quite clearly that she didn’t share our feelings.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie (DVDs) have been hitting the headlines
recently, mainly for Brad having the audacity to fly to England with a
funny Elvis haircut on his head. But that seems to be the least of their worries; after Angelina falling – possibly with twins – and Angelina’s adopted kids legally taking the name Jolie-Pitt, you’d think that the couple had got around to discussing getting married.
It wouldn’t seem that way, though. According to the New York Daily
News, Angelina and Brad are completely at odds with other about the
possibility of marrying each other. Angelina was apparently
eavesdropped telling Sin City director Robert Rodriguez:
"We will never marry. If the kids get older and demand that we have a ceremony, we might. But that’s a touchy subject with us."
Maybe she should have told that to her boyfriend. Brad Pitt, you see, was busy telling The Constant Gardener director Fernando Meirelles that not only were the couple getting married, they were planning on doing it "very soon." Doh!
So Brad and Angelina are getting married very soon. Or not at all.
Unless their children ask nicely. Hope that’s cleared things up for
you. But back to the eavesdropped Jolie/Rodriguez conversation,
Angelina reportedly told Robert about their plans for their new baby:
"We planned on having the baby right near my
birthday, June 4. My mom suggested it. She’s really into astrology and
thought it would be great to have a Gemini like me!"
