God bless national stereotypes, without them, some comedians wouldn't be able to fill the first twenty minutes of their stand-up gigs. The loveable Irish are regarded as potato munching drunks whilst the Welsh have a fixation with sheep for some reason.
It would be difficult for TV producers to get away with creating shows that mock entire nations. So they did the next best thing: Mock people from particular regions! Step right this way, Geordie Shore, Desperate Scousewives, Made In Chelsea and the originator, The Only Way Is Essex.
Inexplicably, TOWIE is three series old and still going strong. However, one of the stars of the shitgramme won’t be returning. Amy Childs is off to do her own thing ? which actually just means annoying people on another TV channel.
Apart from starring in TOWIE, Amy Childs has no real talent apart from putting glue on female lady gardens and sprinkling glitter on them. This, we're told, is a vajazzle. She also appeared on Celebrity Big Brother where she competed in a few tasks designed for us to have a laugh at her expense.
But now we?d wish she'd just go away.
Sadly this isn't going to happen anytime soon as she has now bagged her own reality show on Channel 5. We assume that the show consists of Amy going about her daily business which involves making appearances in dodgy nightclubs, struggling to open a can of beans and sticking her bronze baps in the faces of photographers.
But alas, not everyone is happy for Amy Childs. She has haters close to home who?ve said rude and unpleasant things about her new show. We expect the words ?rubbish?, ?poor? and ?laughable? have all been thrown around. Responding to the criticism, Amy blabbed:
?Some of the TOWIE cast had their opinions and should have kept it to themselves but they didn’t. But that’s what you’ve got to deal with.”
Yeah. Stuff everyone else. Leave those living in the past behind. It's not like She'll be using TOWIE as a potential fallback when all the deals run out?
?I always said I could be the Robbie Williams. The first one to go, I might be back.?
Oh.
