Adrienne Barbeau is an actress and sex symbol who busted on the scene in the 1970’s as the daughter of the titular character Maude on that ground-breaking and long-running CBS TV show.
But let’s talk about the other stuff the shapely Ms. Barbeau is known for, shall we? Two in particular. Film critic Joe Bob Briggs once snidely credited Barbeau’s then widespread popularity too, paraphrasing here, two particularly prominent protrusions.
Of her inclusion in the ’70’s celebrity competition program Battle of the Network Stars, Barbeau has said that she assumed CBS invited her to partake because they thought she was a capable athlete.
Her then husband, renowned horror flick Director John Carpenter, hipped her up to the fact that network execs didn’t give a damn if she won a race, as long as she jiggled when she ran.
Here’s a scene from The Cannonball Run where she exhibits her glorious boobs. The power of cleavage:
Barbeau is most famous for her topless bathing scene in Swamp Thing and it’s the only film where you get a clear straight-on look at her breasts. She’s done nudity in other films like Open House and Carnivale but they pale in comparison.
Enjoy the pics below. If you’re in the mood, there’s a lot more nude celebs over here.
