Heather Mills McCartney is a woman on a mission. She will not rest until every last scrap of fur worn by supermodels is torn from their shivering, undernourished bodies and stapled back onto an animal, the way God intended.
Heather has all the fur-wearing supermodels in her sights. "Do they live in a shed?" she asks of them, quite validly.
For years, Heather Mills McCartney was an outspoken opponent of
landmines. Buts she doesn’t dedicate her time solely to that anymore,
not when women are openly walking around draped with bits on animals.
She’s already burst into the offices of the fur-loving Jennifer Lopez clothing
line – Sweetface – shouted a bit
and got thrown out. And now it’s time for phase two of her masterplan –
being a bit nasty to supermodels.
A statement on her website reads:
"Cindy Crawford famously supported PETA’s ‘I’d rather go naked than wear
fur’ campaign, but has now sold her soul to the fur trade, as have
Linda Evangelista and Naomi Campbell… These are models who were fully informed of the cruelty
involved when they joined in the campaign against fur to support PETA,
but who then decided to take the money and rejoin the industry that
murders animals. Do they really need that cash? Are they broke? Do they
live in a shed?…
"There will, of course, always be the odd person who you cannot
influence or inject any warmth into; these people will have to live
with their consciences and will reap their rewards for their actions in
this and future lives."
So that J-Lo and supermodels dealt with. Who’s next
on the Mills McCartney shitlist? Fred Elliott from Coronation Street?
Cruella DeVille?
Whoever she picks on next, at least Heather Mills McCartney is
making a stand against hypocrites. She must feel pretty good about
herself as she walks over to her kitchen table in her Vegetan Bucky
shoes to eat a big plate of steaming hot tofu before retiring to sleep
on her hemp-filled pillow.
