Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn are gearing up for the release of this year's big comedy movie The Break Up by, well, by basically blowing smoke up each other's arse all the time in public.
The Jennifer Aniston/Vince Vaughn mutual appreciation society got its latest airing over the weekend on Access Hollywood where Jennifer and Vince fawned over how great each other were so much that, at one point, we feared that we'd see the world's first televised instance of anal Aniston tonguing.
We already know that Jennifer Aniston is something of a motormouth. So often has Jennifer Aniston yammered on about Brad Pitt this and Brad Pitt that and Brad Pitt's Mum that, on the rare occasion that Jennifer Aniston doesn't start yakking about her private life, it's headline news.
Vince Vaughn, on the other hand, hasn't been quite so vocal about his relationship with Jennifer Aniston. Even though the couple are rumoured to have bought a house together, Vaughn handles any questions about his private life with all the grace and skill of a newborn baby deer trying to run away from a hunter on an ice rink. Previous questions about sex with Jennifer Aniston have been met with a flurry of half-finished sentences, while the most Vaughn could tell Oprah Winfrey about Aniston is that she was "great."
But now Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston have got a new movie to promote, and if that means that they have to constantly tell everyone how brilliant each other is, then that's what they'll do – starting with an appearance on Access Hollywood. Here's what Vince Vaughn had to say about Jennifer Aniston:
“She was the only one that came to mind when we thinking of someone who
was good with comedy, good with drama and who's really likable, so we
really didn't have a back up choice… She's got Elvis dust… People are drawn to her. Jennifer's the kind of person you could put in
a room and all the kids would come over not even knowing how she is.”
And Jennifer Aniston was just as quick to return the favour, saying of Vince Vaughn:
“I felt really safe with him. That was the other thing. I
immediately felt comfortable and like I'd known him for awhile… I loved the way we would volley together. I had that on my
show, where we would just have a trust but that was also 10 years in
the making and we just met and had it pretty instantly.”
Hand on heart, this is the sweetest dead-eyed manipulative product promotion we think we've ever seen in our freaking lives.
