There are only a couple more days to go until a big day in X Factor history. Our TVs will finally be free of screechy Sharon Osbourne after Saturday! And it’s the big X Factor final, too.

The X Factor final gives us the chance to find out who the public love most – a sad binman, the son of a convicted rapist or two weirdos with a name that refers to oral sex. And time is running out for you to place some X Factor bets – after Saturday, the world will be conspicuously less full of reality TV shows that you’re able to bet on, so get in while you still can.

Today we’re going to be looking at the X Factor betting odds of just one X Factor final act. The only group left in the series – Journey South. Betting odds, as always, come from SportingOdds.com…

Journey South – Journey South stood out from the X Factor pack this
year for a number of reasons. They’re the only duo in the competition,
for a start. And they both look the same. And one of them has got a
guitar. And they’re both as creepy as hell.

We don’t know what it is that we don’t like about Journey South. It
could be the way that on X Factor they’ve only sung songs by croaky
old men like Rod Stewart or Bryan Adams or U2. It could be the way that
they very clearly rehearse their reactions for when it’s revealed that
they’re through to the next round of X Factor. It could be the weird
faces that the guitary one pulls when he sings, or the way that the
non-guitary one punches the air, yelps random adlibs and mispronounces
every single thing that he sings.

In likelihood, it’s probably a mixture of all the above that makes
us want to jab our feet through the TV screen every time Journey South
come on X Factor. But, weirdly, we’re in the minority. Not only have
Journey South managed to get to the X Factor final, they’re also the
subjects of a huge amount of betting at the moment. Does this mean that
Journey South will win X Factor? It makes us shudder to think, but
there’s a distinct possibility. Current X Factor final odds – 7/4

Tomorrow we’ll be looking at the betting odds of the remaining X Factor finalist, Shayne Ward. But
until then,
check out the Special Bets section of SportingOdds.com. And bet, goddammit – there’s money to be made here.
