X Factor Betting Odds: Last Year’s Finalists To Win?

X Factor Betting Odds: Last Year's Finalists To Win?We've been doing these X Factor special best for a while now, and most of them seem to revolved around the X Factor judges, like who'll get drunk and fall off their chair or who'll invite Rebecca Loos to be a judge so that Sharon Osbourne can fight her.

But that's leaving out a massive part of X Factor; the contestants. The hopeless warbling plebs who think that not offending Simon Cowell as much as The Conway Sisters will secure a lifetime of fame, fortune and open-minded groupies instead of the ten seconds of actual fame, six months of nightclub fame and subsequent eternity of not even being recognised by their own mother that being on X Factor will bring them. What about them?

Here are the X Factor betting odds for any of the 2005 finalists to win this year's X Factor

Any of the 2005 finalists to win this year's X Factor – Now here's an interesting one… would any of the finalists from last year's X Factor go on to win this year's competition? Well, let's look at this sensibly; from last year Shayne Ward, Prawny Andy, Chico, Creepy Journey South and Anonymous Maria Lawson have all released singles, so they wouldn't be eligible for this year's X Factor (we think). That leaves Philip McGee, 4Tune, Addictiv Ladies, Nicholas Dorsett, Brenda Edwards, Chenai and The Conway Sisters who could win it this year. Now ask yourself this – apart from The Conway Sisters, who stuck in your mind because they were so mindbendingly awful, how many of those do you remember? Our guess is just about none. And – people, please – this is X Factor! There are going to be a billion different new scary mental acts for you to vote to win and then slag off after the release of their first single, so why spend time on the old? Current X Factor betting odds – 16/1

Tomorrow – Simon Cowell 4 Paula Abdul 4 Eva?
