X Factor Betting Odds - It’s Leona Lewis & Ben Mills

X Factor Betting Odds Leona Lewis Ben MillsIt's time for our final X Factor betting odds instalment of the week, where we pretend that X Factor is still a comparatively open race and Leona Lewis isn't going to win it like everyone flaming knows she will anyway.

While we're here, let's lazily speculate about Saturday's X Factor, shall we? For starters, we want to know if the people behind X Factor can manage to top last week's hopelessly broad Love Songs theme. Maybe on Saturday we'll see a special X Factor Songs With Notes In Them theme, and that way Bubble And Deano from Big Brother 2 can be the specialist musical coaches because once they had a song out with some notes in it. Or maybe - just maybe - none of the X Factor contestants will attempt to go an entire episode without trying to emotionally blackmail anyone with grainy home videos of dead relatives. Well, we can dream.

Here are the X Factor betting odds for Ben Mills and Leona Lewis

Ben Mills - Since Saturday's X Factor had a 'love songs' theme to it, Ben decided to opt for a change of image; instead of being typically self-assured, we saw a different Ben - the Sensitive Rawk Beast. Ben achieved this in a couple of ways; firstly he started weeping like a big girl because he used to get paid to put up tents for a living instead of enthralling global audiences with his dumb prehistoric bellowing, and secondly there was his terrifying performance of Don't Want To Miss A Thing by Aerosmith, which had three separate acts; first came the low-key acousticy start, then came the part when Ben started to holler into an industrial-strength wind tunnel, and finally was the part where Ben sexually assaulted a bemused audience member. It was the most OTT performance we've seen from Ben Mills so far, but it didn't finish at the song's end. Oh no - we still had to endure the pointless, nauseatingly sincere "these are emotional times" speech during the post-interview with Kate Thornton. Wow - making noises like an asthmatic stegosaurus, taking an interest in global politics and the ability to put up big tents - is there nothing that Ben Mills can't do? Current X Factor betting odds - 7/4

Leona Lewis - There's no doubting that Leona Lewis is in a totally different class to the rest of her X Factor competitors; we know this because Simon Cowell is happily making her churn out power ballad after power ballad. Saturday was no different, when Leona had to perform the Elton John duet classic Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word. While it was weird not to hear Elton John start barking like a diabetic sealion halfway through, we did get to witness the sight of Leona walking up and down the stage shouting "wooooooah" like she was trying to do a Russian cossack dance on a flagpole in a tornado and then dramatically fall onto her knees right at the end. For the fifth week running. We're worried that the public will start to tire of all these Mariah Carey-style bombastic ballads soon, though, so hopefully Leona will try and mix things up a little during this Saturday's X Factor to keep things fresh, perhaps with a timely spot of hardcore gangsta rap. Current X Factor betting odds - Evens

Tomorrow - back to Strictly Come Dancing

Leona should win as she is the most talented. Hoever, that doesn’t seem to count with the British public. Look what happened in Pop Idol gorgeous Gareth Gates should have won as he has the lot, tall dark and handsome and sings like an angel. What happened? Bald, poncy, dreary, ugly Will Young came out the winner. There is no justice in the world. To make mattters worse that creep Ray will probably win. Oh my God!
