X Factor Betting Odds – Eighth Elimination Odds

***Early next year, the X Factor contestants – even the rubbish ones – are going on tour! Check out the tour dates and buy tickets here***

X_factor_betting_odds_chico_slimari_1This is a special, landmark week in X Factor, for two reasons. Firstly, as far as we know the judges won’t be able to eliminate anyone – for the first time in the series, who leaves X Factor tomorrow is completely down to the viewers.

And secondly, each of the remaining five X Factor contestants will sing two songs each. That gives each act the chance to showcase both an upbeat song and a slow ballad. Apart from Chico, who will sing an upbeat song and an even more upbeat song. We know what they’re all going to sing, you see.

But who’ll leave X Factor tomorrow? We’ve got the latest X Factor eighth elimination betting odds right here, with help from SportingOdds.com

Shayne Ward – Last week was a watershed week for Shayne in X Factor.
Up until then, he was a sleepy ballady moron who just happened to look
fairly OK to teenage girls. But by singing I Believe In A Thing Called
Love
last week, he showed that he’s also camp as a bucket of fairies.
And, oh boy, is he ever going to reinforce that tomorrow – his songs
are Careless Whisper by George Michael and Take Your Mama Out by The
Scissor Sisters
. Shayne is now such a strong favourite that it’d be a
real shock if he was eliminated tomorrow. Current odds – 25/1

Journey South – According to the odds, Journey South are in the
strongest position they’ve ever been in; despite the fact that last
week’s performance was just a tired old retread of what they’ve already
done before. This week’s choice of songs might be a bit of a risk -
they’re not as gruffly, sincerely blokey as their normal fare; they’ll
be busking Candle In The Wind by Elton John and Bad Day by Daniel
Powter
. What are we talking about? That’s not a risk – a song by the
young singer-songwriter of the moment and a song that’ll remind
everyone of their favourite Princess smashed up inside a car? They’ll
walk it! Current odds – 10/1

Andy Abraham – It’s often been said that Andy has a Nat King Cole
quality to him. And tomorrow he’ll prove it, by singing… a Nat King
Cole song! He’ll croon When I Fall In Love and make the hearts of
everybody watching melt. And then, just as he has the country in the
palm of his hand, he’ll start screeching Easy Lover by Phil Collins and
everyone will turn over and watch Strictly Come Dancing instead. A make
or break week for Andy. Current odds – 9/1

Brenda Edwards – Maybe our brains are wired differently to everyone
else, but we though that Brenda’s rendition of I Will Always Love You
last week was abominable. Everyone else seemed to love it, though. This
week, Brenda is trying her hand at I’ll Never Fall In Love In Love
Again
by Dionne Warwick – which we’re predicting will be brilliant, and
I’m Outta Love by Anastacia, everyone’s favourite back-up karaoke song
- which we’re predicting will suck a lot of arse. This might very well
be Brenda’s week to leave X Factor. Current odds – 7/1

Chico Slimari – Without a doubt, Chico is the favourite to go
tomorrow. But we’ve been saying that for weeks now; Chico has stayed in
because of his uncanny ability to connect with the very stupidest part
of the human brain. And, even though Billy Jean last week was dreadful,
he’s picked a couple of doozies this week – I Feel Good by James Brown
and Time Warp from the Rocky Horror Picture Show. We’d imagine that the
latter will be backed up by an army of little black dancing kids
jigging around in women’s underwear. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see
Chico beat the odds again this week. Current odds – 1/3
