An unusual thing happened on X Factor this week – none of the judges threw a strop and flounced off the show in a huff only to return the next week all apologetic – oh, and Daniel De Bourg got voted off X Factor, too.
The live X Factor finals are still too new for anyone to really remember any of the contestants, but even with that in mind Daniel De Bourg did a pretty good job of failing to impress anyone whatsoever. His X Factor performance of Fill Me Up Buttercup was a mess of flubbed lines, bizarre handshake dance routines and screams of ‘woo’ repeated at such a giddying frequency that we had to go outside to see which car alarm had gone off in our street. So X Factor will continue without Daniel De Bourg in it, but that doesn’t matter because you probably didn’t know who he was in the first place anyway.
But who’s going to win X Factor? Here’s part one of this week’s X Factor betting odds to win, for Alisha Bennett, Emily Nakanda and Same Difference, with help as ever from Paddy Power…
Alisha Bennett - So X Factor is two weeks old now, giving Alisha Bennett a 100% hit-rate when it comes to getting hardly any votes from the public. But why don’t the X Factor viewers like Alisha Bennett? It could be because nobody has seen ‘the real her’ yet, thanks to Alisha’s increasingly apparent ability to smash whatever song she’s given into an insipid generic blandathon. On Saturday’s X Factor, for instance, Alisha tried to make I Say A Little Prayer For You her own by a) dressing up as Minnie Mouse and b) renaming it I Say A Little Prayer For Hugh. Although it didn’t go down well with the X Factor viewers, at least next week we’ll be sure to see the real Alisha – a sobbing, nervous, confidence-strapped wreck. Current X Factor betting odds – 40/1
Emily Nakanda – Have you noticed that Emily Nakanda always wears necklaces with the word ‘Emily’ written on them? Lord knows why she does – probably because ‘The young one, you know, the one who isn’t very good’ was too long. Anyway, because Emily is in her teens she decided to treat us all to an X Factor rendition of I’m Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman by Britney Spears. A terrified, unconvinced, boring rendition of I’m Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman sung by a girl with a giant button on her head. Emily said she was performing it for everyone out there who isn’t a girl or a woman. Most of hecklerspray falls into that category. And, really, we wish she’d stop. Current X Factor betting odds – 33/1
Same Difference – Simon Cowell says that Same Difference can make it to the final, and we believe him. Not the X Factor final, mind you – the final of the annual godawful gonkish bastard competition that we’ve just invented. On Saturday’s X Factor, Same Difference performed Breaking Free from High School Musical and did all the creepy hand-holding and desk-jumping and eye-staring that we’re slowly coming round to expecting as the norm from them. The problem with Same Difference is the exact opposite to Alisha Bennett’s – we know who they are. They’re a great big wax crayon drawing of a fluffy kitten and they’re annoying. Plus we’re starting to suspect that the girl from Same Difference totally has the potential to be a murderer. Current X Factor betting odds – 25/1
Tomorrow: X Factor betting odds for Beverly Trottman, Andy Williams, Leon Jackson and Futureproof. But if that’s too long to wait – or you feel like making more money than you know what to do with – head right over to the Paddy Power X Factor betting odds page to see the latest, and best, betting odds.

Same Difference make me want to turn into a murderer… must be a bug going round
Daniel De Bourg is lovely i will remember him. He looks like Jase single dad to Jay from Eestenders they so should put Daniel into Eeatenders has Jase brother wiked or what??
All the finalists where rubbish this year. And its a show watched mainly by teenage girls, all with mobile phones that Dad has to pay for… so it’s no surprise the young boy won.
