This Boxing Day, Nowhere Boy gets released to cinemas.

And it seems like it’s worth watching, too. That’s because it’s about the childhood of John Lennon, so you can watch it knowing that the film won’t end with him done up like your bloody nan singing Drive My Car with Jamie Poxy Afro on the final of sodding X Factor, as you would if it was a film about the childhood of Paul McCartney.
