Welsh FA Apology For Goldie Lookin’ Chain Beckham ‘Nutter’ Song

It’s not a good time to be a Beckham. David is the captain of a shockingly bad England squad, and Victoria was pictured in all the newspapers this week looking like a great big angry orange clown.

To make it worse, novelty Welsh rappers Goldie Lookin’ Chain dedicated a song to the Beckhams at the recent England vs Wales match. Problem is, the song was their new single, entitled Your Missus Is A Nutter.

And the dedication has got the Welsh FA huffing and puffing like a bunch of fat policemen chasing a car up a hill.

During the warm-up for the match, Goldie Lookin’ Chain (CDs) were
invited to entertain the crowd and promote their new single Your
Missus Is A Nutter - basically Your Mother’s Got A Penis with a smart
Serge Gainsbourg sample.

But when they told the crowd that the song was going out to Victoria Beckham because "we’ve heard she likes a drink", they
crossed a big imaginary line that’s got them into trouble. And promoted the song more than they ever could have imagined.

The Beckhams are said to be "furious" at the dedication of the song,
which features lines like "Two tequilas and four vodka mules/She’s a
wrecking ball and her fists are the tools".

David Collins - Secretary General of the Welsh FA - has stepped in to calm things down with an apology:

"I would like to go on record as issuing a public
apology to David Beckham and the English FA, and say this is a matter
the Welsh FA are treating with great importance. People may say it was meant as a joke and maybe we’re
being fuddy-duddies. But we don’t see it like that. There was a basic
lack of respect involved here."

However, Goldie Lookin’ Chain are being vaguely unrepentant. A spokesman for the band said:

"The Beckhams should be honoured that we dedicated our
performance to them, as an act of friendship and respect. We are currently thinking of dedicating our next single
to Geri Halliwell, and hope that this will not cause an equally
unexpected and misconstrued outcry."
