Wayne Rooney - Lettuce Eating Worm

All of the millions of people who sit up night after night scratching their heads thinking about what Wayne Rooney’s favourite food is need ponder no more - it’s lettuce, as exclusively revealed by his rent-a-gob girlfriend Coleen McLoughlin.

Coleen, 19, uncovers, all this and more about the kerazee, zany life she shares with the Manchester United football player in a Five documentary to be screened this Sunday - Coleen’s Secrets.

Coleen McLoughlin goes on to question why the public think her scally boyfriend Wayne Rooney (DVDs) has a penchant junk food:

"They all think Wayne’s a big fat person and eats burgers everyday,
which he’s not, and I don’t know where they get it from… it does my
head in, because people really believe that. His favourite food is
lettuce. He loves salad."

His big-fat-double-cheeseburger-with-extra-mayo face could be the
answer you’re looking for, Coleen, but who are we to judge.

Coleen divulges more interesting and deeply personal things about
their relationship with Wayne when she takes the viewers on a tour of Croxteth,
Liverpool, and reveals the romantic location where the two enjoyed
their first date - a chip shop. No doubt the aesthetically-challenged
one treated her to a jumbo sausage and large chips, and - just to show what a classy lass she is - maybe a can of
Vimto, too.

Coleen, a Closer magazine columnist, is also quick to point out that
there’s more to her than just being a footballer’s girlfriend and
spending money on pink velour leisure suits:

"People just think I go out with this footballer and I go out
shopping everyday - which I don’t. It’s only my friends and family that
know me…I’ve got my own money - I don’t spend Wayne’s money. That’s
what people don’t realise. Someone said in a column to go and get a
job. That does my head in. They’ve got to accept me for who I am."

Don’t worry Coleen, we know you’re a down-to-earth girl who’s not
forgotten where she came from - after all, those Primark carrier bags
say so much about you…
