Wayans Brothers To Make Police-Based Masterpiece

It's no exaggeration to say that Wayans brothers have been the greatest force in western cinema of the millennium so far.

Who could forget the heartwarming moment in Little Man when, finally accepted by his emotionally-overwhelmed adopted parents, the midget dressed up as a baby tries to put his penis in his mother's mouth? Or the effortlessly nuanced scene in White Chicks where the girl knocks a bunch of stuff over with her tits? If that's the kind of thing you like, then have we got good news for you - the Wayans brothers are teaming up again, this time to make a spoof of cop movies. We can hardly wait to see the part of the movie when the chief orders the hapless cops, played by Shawn and Marlon Wayans, to hand over their badges, only for them to poo themselves to an assortment of comedy sound effects. Classy stuff. 

The Wayans brothers are in the middle of a fairly impressive career pattern at the moment. After the semi-amusing Scary Movie, the Wayans brothers made the less-funny Scary Movie 2, then White Chicks - a movie that wasn't so much funny as skin-crawlingly creepy - and then Little Man, about a midget dressing up as a baby and trying to rape his adopted mother.

On that basis, then, the next comedy movie that the Wayans brothers make together will have to be so awful that it emotionally-disturbs anyone who sees it to the degree that they can never make eye-contact with anyone ever again. And soon it'll be time to test that theory.

According to Variety, the Wayans brothers are putting together a Scary Movie-style spoof film, this time about policemen. You know, a bit like a film that's identical to Hot Fuzz. It's going to be just what you'd expect from a Wayans brothers film - it'll star Shawn and Marlon Wayans and be directed by Keenan Ivory Wayans - and although there aren't any plot details, you can imagine that one cop will be a stoner, one cop will be secretly gay and there'll probably be a scene involving masturbation somewhere. Oh yes, and it'll be hilarious!

This new Wayans brother movie doesn't have a title yet, but given their propensity for giving their films superhumanly blunt names that explain the film exactly, expect to see That Wayans Brothers Film About Policemen That Might Make You Smile Once But Will Ultimately Make You Feel Cheated Out Of A Couple Of Hours Of Your Life in cinemas next year.
