In a nutshell, The Sunshine Underground are the Kasabian that it's OK not to want to run over in a jeep that's got loads of knitting needles sticking out the front. And Put You In Your Place is easily the best thing they've done so far.

You could call Put You In Your Place by The Sunshine Underground baggy, if it weren't so damn angry-sounding all the time. Put You In Your Place is made up of a relentless, pounding, throbbing, mechanical groove that couldn't pack more of a punch if you raised it on steroids and then told it that its Mum was a slag. And you can dance to it, too, in a blokey sort of way. If The Sunshine Underground manage to keep up the pace of Put You In Your Place throughout all of their forthcoming entire album, we'd wager that you'll own it by Christmas.
