"Whoooo", "Grikkka grikka", "Oowooka". These are just some of the noises that helped The Prodigy win their Q Award for Innovative Sound the other day. And they’re mostly all deployed on this here video.
The Prodigy have got a Best Of album out on Monday, entitled Their Law – The Singles 1990 – 2005, and to make people sit up and pay attention here’s a video for the Pendulum Remix of Voodoo People. It’s the happiest, slappiest music video The Prodigy have ever made, as it features a bunch of people in blindfolds running around screaming and hurting themselves while Mr Scary takes pictures on his phone.
The tune’s a bit guitary, too. Keep your boilersuits and glowsticks in the wardrobe for this one.
