If someone told you to watch a long Russian film about vampires and devils and ancient mystical nonsense, you'd slap them in the face and go back to watching Freddy Got Fingered.
But Night Watch isn't any old Russian vampire movie - it's a relentless, violent explosion of ridiculously high quality set pieces including bubbling skin, buses flipping over in the street and ancient armies charging at each other across rooftops. Night Watch is also such an intense movie that you can actually feel yourself unclench after it's finished.
