Mogwai usually have two settings; scary and loud or beautiful and quiet, with nothing in between. Until now at least, because Travel Is Dangerous, the new Mogwai single, is loud and beautiful.
Taken from their most recent Mr Beast album, Travel Is Dangerous sees Mogwai in good old fashion shoegazing mode, complete with drums as loud as bombs and all sorts of indecipherable lyrics, possibly about how dangerous travel is. It's a thing of beauty, and has to be heard to be believed. And even if you don't particularly care for Mogwai, Travel Is Dangerous has an animated video that's as heart-meltingly gorgeous as it is utterly confusing. You'll obviously go and buy Travel Is Dangerous by Mogwai when it's released, but for now, here's the Mogwai Travel Is Dangerous video for you.
