Never let it be said that hecklerspray doesn't champion noisily generic indie music made by young pups with bad haircuts, that's what we say. And exhibit A is the 40 Days And 40 Nights video by The Enemy.
Quite who The Enemy are enemies of isn't really clear – it could be hairdressers or it could equally be the idea of spending more than 10p on a music video. But this much is clear, in 40 Days And 40 Nights The Enemy are scared to show their love for rubbishy Josh Hartnett films from four years ago. There's apparently something of a buzz about The Enemy and in particular the frontman Tom, who's been described as "a young Mark E. Smith" although there's a chance that this is because he's a bit funny looking and you can't really understand what he's saying. The official hecklerspray verdict of 40 Days And 40 Nights by The Enemy is that we're going to have to hear it a few more times before we know what we make of it, but in the meantime why not watch The Enemy 40 Days And 40 Nights video for yourself.
