We were thinking to ourselves the other day that there aren’t enough indie songs about the town that Jack Bauer saw getting nuked on 24 a few weeks ago and then – kapow – The Decemberists drop O Valencia on our lap. About a thousand years after the rest of the world, admittedly, but what can you do.

Instead, the video for O Valencia by The Decemberists that you’re getting here is a Wes Anderson-style epic about two lovers trying to escape a hotel full of different assassin groups out to kill them.

Oh, and the music isn’t too shoddy either.
