The Boy Who Ran Away, the new single by The Mystery Jets, is an immense thing. It’s resolutely good indie - all soaring and swooping, the kind of thing you just don’t hear these days.

What’s better, the video for The Boy Who Ran Away, um, has a lot of toy trains in it. It’s like a kind of emotionally raw episode of Oh! Doctor Beeching or something. With better hair.

Listen, we don’t really know what we’re talking about. And we didn’t mean the bit about Oh! Doctor Beeching. But we like The Mystery Jets, and we like The Boy Who Ran Away. And if you watch the video, we’re pretty sure you will too.
