You buy a ticket to hear a singer sing. That does not give you the right to abuse him; almost anything could've been in the cup. As a fan, I would've been disappointed, but I certainly understand his actions. I've seen him a number of times in DC and the crowds have been enthusiastic but incredibly well behaved.
