It looks like our days of sitting by the letterbox waiting for an invite to a Jennifer Aniston pity party might be over – the rumours of her doing the smoochy smooch with Vince Vaughn look like they’ve become more than rumours. They’re beginning to look like an official couple.

Or it could all be part of the publicity for The Break-Up, the forthcoming Vince Vaughn/Jennifer Aniston film. Who knows?

Poor old Jennifer Aniston (DVDs) has been recently seen as little more than
a sad jilted woman who can do little more than scream at the sea
because she was so sad that Brad Pitt left her for Angelina Jolie. But
now the sad times seem to be over for her, and it’s all thanks to Vince
Vaughn (DVDs).

There have long been reports that Vince and Jennifer were more than
just co-stars – newspapers were full of pictures of the two of them
sharing hugs and kisses, but they turned out to be on-set pictures of
them filming The Break-Up.

However, now things are suitably official for People magazine in
America to put a picture of Vince and Jennifer on the front cover with
the headline "Hot New Romance." And People ‘guru’ Larry Hackett has
been saying why they’re on the cover:

“I definitely think there’s a romance going on there. These are two people who feel its OK to be out in
public and showing their affection.”

According
to reports, Vaughn and Aniston have been seen out and about all over
Chicago openly kissing and walking around lakes. The relationship is
said to be serious enough for Vince to take Jennifer to meet his mother
and step-father. Good old Larry Hackett has a theory on this, too:

“That’s something people do when they feel it’s a serious thing. And it’s someone you want to meet, you’re proud, you’re
happy about it, you want to show them, ‘Hey, this is my mom. This is
where I’m from. This is my life.’”

We
still can’t help thinking that this whole Jennifer/Vince romance is a
big ploy to make more people want to go and see The Break-Up. After
all, it worked for Mr And Mrs Smith.
